Aston Martin has unveiled the "Vantage GT12 Roadster," a unique, single-unit creation. Based on the "Vantage GT12 Coupe," this roadster features a bespoke suspension setup and carbon fiber components.

Crafted by "Q by Aston Martin" to Meet Bespoke Customer Demands

The "Vantage GT12 Roadster" is a model commissioned by a customer and built as a unique, single unit. It is based on the "Vantage GT12 Coupe," which was produced in a limited run of 100 units, and has been tailor-made by Aston Martin's customization program, "Q by Aston Martin."

The development of this Vantage GT12 Roadster, from concept to completion, took nine months to achieve an open-top conversion while retaining the high driving performance of the coupe model.

The powertrain, combining a 6.0-liter V12 DOHC engine producing 600ps with a 7-speed Sportshift III transmission, remains unchanged from the coupe. However, the suspension has been given a unique setting. Despite an increase in weight due to the structural reinforcement for the open-top configuration, this setup ensures handling characteristics comparable to the coupe model.

Furthermore, newly fitted dedicated carbon fiber body panels differentiate its exterior appearance. Coupled with a bespoke body color and trim, it exudes a special aura befitting a one-off model.

David King, Aston Martin Vice President and Chief Special Operations Officer, stated, "The GT12 Roadster is the first car where we have pooled all of our skills into one vehicle. This car is a road-legal, one-off model that perfectly reflects the customer's wishes in both style and engineering. This is the essence of the Q by Aston Martin service."

The price is undisclosed, and it will not be produced again, making it a truly unique, one-off model.
