Aston Martin Unveils the Final DB9


Aston Martin has announced the final version of the DB9, the "Last of 9." This special DB9 marks a fitting farewell to the model while enhancing its value as a collector's item.

Scheduled for Introduction in Japan


Marking 13 years since its world premiere in 2003, Aston Martin's grand tourer, theDB9DB9.DB11has also been announced, making this the final special model of the DB9.


The final model, named "Last of 9" in reference to its model designation, will see a limited production of just nine coupes and nine open-top versions (Volante), totaling 18 units. Of these, three will be introduced in Japan.


Production is handled by "Q by Aston Martin," Aston Martin's personalization division.Q by Aston MartinThe exterior features Q Heritage's special Cumberland Grey. The interior boasts semi-aniline Bitter Chocolate leather seats with Sandstorm Gold leather decorative pinstripes, a cashmere headlining, wood panels centered with grain patterns, and a billet aluminum rotary switch with decorative etching.

Further exclusive touches include mother-of-pearl inlay wings on the front and rear, a "Q by Aston Martin" plaque on the V12 engine, and a black-painted "Last of 9" badge on the fender.


The Last of 9 model, with only 18 units produced worldwide and just three destined for Japan, comes with a "Q by Aston Martin" book documenting the manufacturing process and is officially registered with the Aston Martin Owners Club. This ensures the car's provenance is officially recorded, enhancing its value as a collector's item. Additionally, owners have the option to visit Aston Martin's headquarters in Gaydon to witness the manufacturing process.
