For the Successful Who Live Unconventionally

The "Wraith Black Badge" is a model created by Rolls-Royce for successful individuals of a younger generation who are unconventional, yet uncompromising and without excuses. This designation is also applied to the "Ghost" and "Wraith" announced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016.

The engine is a 6.6-liter V12 DOHC twin-turbo. While the maximum output remains unchanged from the standard Wraith at 632 ps, the maximum torque has been increased by 70 Nm to 870 Nm. The 8-speed automatic transmission paired with this has also been strengthened.

Furthermore, by modifying the air suspension settings and adopting a new driveshaft, this model is more focused on the driver. Of course, the effortless ride quality unique to Rolls-Royce remains unchanged.

Exterior changes have also been made. The "Flying Lady" mascot, a symbol of Rolls-Royce, retains its design, posture, and material, but is finished in high-gloss black paint. The double 'R' badges adorning the front end, side panels, and tail are painted silver against a black background. Chrome surfaces such as the front grille surround, the accents on the trunk lid finish, the lower air intake accents, and the exhaust pipes are finished in dark tones to emphasize shadow.

The deep black color of the body is a proprietary shade, "Black Badge Black," achieved through multiple layers of paint and lacquer, meticulously hand-polished repeatedly. This is a black finish with a depth, blackness, and color intensity unprecedented for a production car body.

The interior features surfaces woven with aluminum alloy thread and carbon fiber on the center console and other areas. The air vents are adorned with dark chrome bezels. The newly developed in-car clock, with its striking orange hands, bears the "Unlimited" logo. This logo, signifying "unlimited possibilities," is also found on the seats. The seat color is a cobalt blue and black combination, exclusive to the Wraith Black Badge.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge is scheduled for release by the end of 2016. Pricing has not yet been determined.
