Rolls-Royce "Phantom Series II" Introduced in Japan
The Rolls-Royce "Phantom" has evolved into Series II. Orders have now begun in Japan. The Phantom is the company's flagship model, available in two types of four-door saloons with different wheelbases, a two-door "Coupe," and an open-top "Drophead Coupe."

The Matured "Series II"
Announced at the Geneva International Motor ShowThe Series II "Phantom" has finally gone on sale in Japan. As per customer requests, exterior changes have been kept to a minimum, including the bumpers and LED headlights, with the main updates focusing on interior refinements, modernization of multimedia functions, and the adoption of an 8-speed transmission and improved differential.
There are no changes to the 6.75-liter V12 direct-injection engine, which produces a maximum output of 460 ps/5,350 rpm and a maximum torque of 720 Nm/3,500 rpm. Performance figures remain the same, with 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.8 to 6.1 seconds (depending on the model) and a top speed of 240 km/h (250 km/h for the Coupe, both with limiter engaged). However, fuel efficiency has been improved by 10 percent.
These changes apply to all Phantom Series models, including the Coupe and Drophead Coupe.
According to Rolls-Royce, Japanese customers have a very high rate of ordering the "Bespoke Order" custom program, with most vehicles receiving customization by artisans at the Goodwood factory in England.
Deliveries of the Phantom Series II are scheduled to begin around autumn.
