DS to Exhibit at Tokyo Motor Show After Independence from Citroën
Peugeot Citroën Japon has announced the details of DS's exhibition at the Tokyo Motor Show, following its independence from Citroën. This marks the DS brand's first appearance.

All Five Displayed Vehicles, Including the DS4 Scheduled for 2016 Release, to Be Unveiled in Japan for the First Time
DS will be exhibiting for the first time at the Tokyo Motor Show, held at Tokyo Big Sight from October 29 (Thursday) to November 8 (Sunday). Having separated from Citroën, the brand has shed the "double chevron" corporate mark and is now steering towards a more avant-garde and luxurious style. All five vehicles to be displayed are Japan premieres.
The venue will feature the updated "DS 4" and the SUV-style "DS 4 CROSSBACK," both slated for introduction in Japan in 2016. Both models proudly display the DS logo at the center of their front grilles, signifying the new brand's presence, and are accented with headlights featuring the "DS Wing Grille" and DS LED Vision, inspired by the concept carNumero 9"Numero 9" (pronounced Nu-me-ro Nu-f).
The flagship model,DS 5will feature the60th Anniversary of the Original DSspecial limited edition "DS 5 Édition 1955," designed to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the original DS. It boasts a body color replicating the DS's "Blue Ancré" from 1955, a serial number plate, and gold center wheel caps. It will be released in Japan in a limited run of 30 units.
Additionally, the compact hatchbackDS 3and the open-top "DS 3 Cabrio" will be presented with a special edition named "So Parisienne." These models are equipped with a newly updated powertrain, featuring a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbo engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The DS stand will be located in the West Hall of Tokyo Big Sight, alongside the Citroën and Peugeot booths.
