Aston Martin and Zagato DNA United

The V12 Zagato, a model commemorating the 50th anniversary of the historic DB4 GT Zagato, a collaboration between Aston Martin and Zagato, was unveiled at the Villa d'Este Concours d'Elegance in Italy this May. The car, born from the fusion of Aston Martin and Zagato's design DNA, immediately impresses with an exterior design that exquisitely blends elegance and aggression. Its muscular, athletic aluminum body is handcrafted by artisans with nearly 100 years of accumulated expertise.

The 6.0-liter V12 engine, mounted in the front-mid position, produces a maximum output of 380kW (517ps) at 6,500rpm and a maximum torque of 570Nm at 5,750rpm. It boasts high performance with a 0-100km/h acceleration of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 305km/h. It successfully completed the Nürburgring 24 Hours race in Germany held in June.

The V12 Zagato is poised to forge a new chapter in the history of Aston Martin and Zagato. It is announced as a limited production of 150 units, with a price of £330,000 (approximately 42 million yen).

Aston Martin's Kansai Hub

The stage for the V12 Zagato's unveiling in Japan was the renewal and opening party of "Aston Martin Osaka Hachiko," Aston Martin's base in Osaka.

Previously located in Shinsaibashi, Nishi-ku, Osaka, the Aston Martin Osaka Hachiko showroom lacked a service facility. Therefore, it has now been reborn as a new hub, integrating both showroom and service facilities, with its renewal and opening in Naniwa-ku, Osaka.

The spacious showroom, capable of displaying six models at any time, is finished in a clean, white-based interior in line with Aston Martin's CI, making the Aston models stand out. The adjacent service facility, equipped with 14 lifts, is a full-fledged operation, befitting its role as Aston Martin's Kansai hub.

On the opening reception day, in addition to the V12 Zagato, the luxury city commuter "Cygnet," newly introduced to Japan, was also unveiled. Popular models such as the "Virage" and "V8 Vantage S" were also on display, delighting the attendees.
