According to 'MOTOR TREND,' unlike previous Range Rovers, this Evoque 2-door coupe sport, based on the LR2 (Freelander 2), appears unsuited for off-road driving due to its styling. However, this is not the case. For example, like the Freelander 2, it maintains sufficient ground clearance to withstand off-road conditions. Furthermore, Land Rover claims the Evoque delivers performance comparable to the Range Rover Sport. The interior features a sleek cabin design.

The power generated by the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder direct-injection turbo in this model is smooth and enjoyable to drive. The accompanying 6-speed automatic transmission offers seamless gear changes and responsive performance. Features include a power tailgate, 380W audio system, leather seats, 19-inch wheels, push-button start, and 6 airbags.

In conclusion, it seems the impression was that, at least in the US, the Evoque is far from being a massive hit, regardless of whether it's a 2-door or 4-door. However, looking at its front profile starting from the nose, and its smart, functional interior, the Evoque is described as a rock star capable of conquering mountain roads.
