ASTON MARTIN Opens Four Dealerships in the Chinese Market

Four New Dealerships Open in China


Aston Martin has announced plans to open four new dealerships in China within the year. The company aims to capitalize on growth in China, which is expected to lead the way in the Asian market.

Shanghai Office Established


Aston Martin entered the Chinese market in 2008. Currently, with dealerships in Beijing, Chengdu, Hangzhou, and Shanghai, it has achieved the greatest market share among British brands.

At the Shanghai Motor Show held this April,Viragewas unveiled. Under the banner of an "Asia Tour," events were held in China, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan to showcasethe flagship model "One-77", demonstrating a focus on market expansion. Incidentally, both the Virage andthe "V8 Vantage S" with its 4.7-liter V8 enginehave begun taking reservations in China, with deliveries scheduled to start this summer.

CEO Ulrich Bez commented, "Clearly, China is the world's largest luxury market and possesses considerable potential. It also allows us to achieve our corporate strategy of reducing dependence on established Western markets." Aston Martin plans to establish four dealerships within the year, develop a dedicated China organization, and set up a branch office in Shanghai.

Currently, Aston Martin operates a global dealership network of 135 locations in 42 countries. Furthermore, as part of its business expansion, the company has entered markets in South America, India, Taiwan, and Turkey, focusing on growth in these new territories, as well as in China and the Middle East.
