First Half of 2011: Record Sales Achieved!
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced that sales in the first half of 2011 reached 1,592 units, a 64 percent increase year-on-year, marking the highest figure since becoming part of the BMW Group in 2003.

The "Ghost" Drives Sales Success
Regions with particularly significant sales growth were Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, with increases of over 170 percent and over 40 percent, respectively. The United States, where Rolls-Royce is highly popular, also saw a 40 percent increase. Within Europe, Germany recorded the largest growth rate at approximately 60 percent. All these gains were driven by the popularity of the new model introduced in Japan in 2009, the most powerful engine in the current lineup.The "Ghost," featuring the most powerful enginewas the driving force, with 80 percent of "Ghost" buyers being new customers.
Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, commented, "This result is a testament to the trust customers place in Rolls-Royce and its products. We will continue to solidify our position as the world's leading luxury car manufacturer."
Centenary of the Iconic "Spirit of Ecstasy"
2011 marks the 100th anniversary of the "Spirit of Ecstasy," the female mascot with outstretched arms at the front of the car, symbolizing the luxury, refinement, and effortless driving experience characteristic of Rolls-Royce automobiles.
To commemorate this milestone, Rolls-Royce has produced and is selling a limited edition of 100 "Phantom Spirit of Ecstasy Collection" models, meticulously finished with bespoke details.
Furthermore, Rolls-Royce plans to host various events throughout the year. On July 15th (Friday), the company held the "Exhibition of 100 Rolls-Royces that Adorned 100 Years" at its headquarters in Goodwood, UK.
This event brought together 100 Rolls-Royce vehicles, manufactured between 1911 and the present day, for a single day. The event concluded with a parade lap around the Goodwood Motor Circuit, a truly thrilling experience for enthusiasts.
In March of this year,the Phantom EV "102EX"wasunveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, demonstrating Rolls-Royce's leadership in the ultra-luxury segment. The company's future endeavors are certainly worth watching.
