Announced May 21st, Race Debut at the Nürburgring on the 28th

The collaboration model to be announced this time celebrates the 50th anniversary of the legendary sports car "DB4 GT Zagato," created by Aston Martin and Zagato working together.

The "DB4 GT Zagato," the first collaboration car, was a high-performance, lightweight version of Aston Martin's "DB4 GT," with only 19 units manufactured worldwide. It achieved brilliant success in races such as Goodwood in 1961 and, although all 19 units still exist today, it is known as a "legendary phantom car."

In addition, the two companies have a history of creating noteworthy cars over many years, including the "V8 Vantage Zagato Limited Edition" and "V8 Volante Zagato" produced in 1986 with a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 300 km/h, and more recently the "DB7 Zagato" manufactured in 2003 in a limited run of 100 units worldwide.

Following its unveiling at the Villa d'Este Concours, the new collaboration model is scheduled to make its race debut campaign at Germany's Nürburgring on Saturday, May 28th.

Aston Martin CEO Dr. Ulrich Bez commented, "The fusion of Aston Martin and Zagato's DNA has consistently resulted in the creation of valuable collector cars worldwide. We are at a wonderful moment to announce a new model, 50 years after the birth of the 'DB4 GT Zagato,' and we believe we can create a model that rivals the DB4 GT Zagato by combining the design intelligence of both companies."

We eagerly anticipate the return of a special car that rivals the "DB4 GT Zagato."
