Huracan Makes its Asian Debut in China

The Huracan LP610-4, successor to the Gallardo, Lamborghini's best-selling model, which was first unveiled at this year's Geneva Motor Show, has finally appeared in Asia.

The Huracan is powered by a new 5.2-liter V10 engine, delivering a maximum output of 610 ps and peak torque of 560 Nm. It also features the latest 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the "Lamborghini Doppia Frizione (LDF)," which offers even more agile and comfortable shifts than before. The all-wheel-drive system, a hallmark of the new generation of Lamborghinis, is also standard, promising quicker acceleration and more nimble cornering than rear-wheel-drive models. Its performance figures are impressive: 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 325 km/h.

One reason Beijing was chosen as the stage for the Huracan's Asian debut is the importance of the Chinese market, which ranks as Lamborghini's second-largest globally. Prior to the Beijing Motor Show reveal, a technology workshop was held for Chinese media, underscoring the continued high expectations for this market.

A Special Aventador Featuring the Tricolore

The other car gracing the stage at the Beijing Motor Show was a special edition Aventador named "Nazionale." This model is based on the Aventador LP700-4 coupe and was created using Lamborghini's "Ad Personam" bespoke customization program.

Characterized by a bright "Bianco Opalis" body, a Tricolore stripe runs down the center from the front hood, over the roof, and onto the rear wing, representing the Italian flag. This color scheme is also incorporated into the interior, accenting areas like the center of the roof. Furthermore, subtle design touches include the Italian flag embroidered onto the stitched seats.

The "enhanced quality and luxury" that is a hallmark of Ad Personam is evident, with extensive use of carbon fiber materials inside and out. Additional standard features include a clear engine bonnet, matte titanium forged wheels, and red brake calipers. This "Nazionale" specification is already available in other color combinations, and it appears that similar specifications can be ordered through the Ad Personam program.

The Huracan, which has already received 1,500 orders since its world premiere in Geneva in March, is a highly anticipated model for Japan as well.
