Production Model of the Wild Rubis

Citroen will unveil the "DS 6WR," a new addition to the DS line, at the Beijing Motor Show. Its body dimensions are 4.55 meters in length, 1.86 meters in width, and 1.61 meters in height, with a wheelbase of 2.73 meters. Two engine options are available: the e-THP 160, featuring high-pressure twin-scroll turbocharging and direct injection for a maximum output of 160 ps, and the THP 200 with 200 ps. Both are paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

While it is only available in front-wheel drive, it is equipped with a Grip Control function, which optimizes traction on all surfaces while also claiming high fuel efficiency.



The front fascia of the DS 6WR is an evolution of the DS 5LS, a DS line sedan produced and sold in China. The elegant chrome lines that extend from the sculpted front grille to the headlights are named "DS Wings." The design, where the roof rails seamlessly integrate into the C-pillars, similar to the new "C4 Picasso," is also emphasized with chrome. The rear features a wrap-around design where the tailgate encompasses the combination lamps.

This new SUV, the DS 6WR, will be manufactured at Citroen's Shenzhen plant in China and will first go on sale in the Chinese market by the end of 2014.
