Sales Dates and Prices for XKR-S and Evoque Announced

First, from Jaguar, the "XKR-S" will have its Japan premiere. This model stands at the pinnacle of the XK series and is hailed as Jaguar's fastest and most powerful sports car ever. Its Japanese market launch date and pricing will be announced at the press conference on Wednesday, November 30th, at the Jaguar Land Rover booth, featuring Phil Popham, Jaguar Land Rover Group Sales Director.

Additionally, the new "XF" series, featuring sharp styling and HID xenon headlamps, along with a more muscular grille and bonnet, will showcase its top model, the "XFR," and Jaguar's flagship model, the "XJ" series' top-tier "XJ Supersport."

The XFR features a distinct front bumper and rear skirt compared to the standard XF series, powered by a 5.0-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine. It is priced at 12 million yen. Meanwhile, the XJ Supersport Standard boasts a sleek, contemporary design with a powerful and efficient 5.0-liter V8 direct-injection engine, complemented by a supremely crafted interior that masterfully balances sportiness and luxury. While a long-wheelbase (LWB) version, 125mm longer, is available for this model, the one on display is the SWB (Standard Wheelbase) model with a wheelbase of 3,030mm. It is priced at 16.75 million yen.

Evoque

For Land Rover, the "Evoque", which has garnered attention as the most affordable and compact Range Rover to date, will finally make its public debut in Japan. This model will be available in a 5-door version and a 3-door version called the "Evoque Coupe." Similar to the XKR-S mentioned above, its launch date and pricing will be announced at the press conference.

In addition, the "Land Rover Discovery 4 HSE," a mid-size SUV whose sales launch was recently announced, will also be on display. Its price has already been set at 7.96 million yen, and sales will commence nationwide through authorized dealers starting Saturday, December 3, 2011.
