Directed by Scott Waugh of “Act of Valor” fame, DreamWorks’ Hollywood blockbuster “Need for Speed” is a car action movie. The story follows Tobey (Aaron Paul), a mechanic and street racer recently released from prison, as he seeks revenge on those who framed him. The film also features a host of popular young Hollywood actors, including Dominic Cooper, Ramon Rodriguez, Rami Malek, Imogen Poots, Dakota Johnson, and Kid Cudi.

Scheduled for release in the U.S. in March 2014, the film is highly anticipated for its spectacular display of American favorites like muscle cars and supercars, with expensive exotics performing thrilling stunts and crashes without hesitation.

The Mustang exhibited at the LA Auto Show is the very car driven by the protagonist Tobey (Aaron Paul) in the movie “Need for Speed.” It is powered by a supercharged V8 engine, producing an impressive 900ps. Its massive form is characterized by wide fenders, bumpers, a hood, large air intakes on the rear fenders, and large 22-inch alloy wheels.

Packed with breathtaking car chases and drift scenes, it’s a must-see for car enthusiasts. It is truly a fitting film to mark the finale of the current Mustang generation.

Incidentally, this “Need for Speed” Mustang also served as the pace car for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series held at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Florida in November, accompanied by actor Ramon Rodriguez, and was met with thunderous applause.
