At the LA Auto Show, Fiat will exhibit the "500 1957 Edition," which further emphasizes the retro feel of the "500." This model is an homage to the "Nuova 500," the predecessor that comes to mind first when one thinks of the Cinquecento in Japan. It will be released in the United States to commemorate the 57th anniversary of its debut in 1957.

The retro-featured 1957 Edition will be available in three solid, white-based body colors: "Bianco" (white), "Verde Chiaro" (light green), and the special light blue "Celeste." As the roof and door mirror covers will be in white "Bianco" only, the "Verde Chiaro" and "Celeste" body colors will automatically result in a two-tone finish.

The wheels are 16-inch, inspired by the 1957 Nuova 500, featuring a large retro FIAT logo on the body color and chrome surface. This retro-style logo is also applied to the front and rear of the body.

Naturally, the interior design also receives special attention. In addition to the contrast of ivory-based "Avorio" and gray-based "Grigio" for the door panels and dashboard, brown "Maron" leather is used for the seats, the inside of the steering wheel, and the shift boot to create a distinct atmosphere. Even the key follows the interior color scheme, featuring a "Maron" body with "1957" written in "Avorio."

The base model is the Fiat "500 Lounge" equipped with a 1.4-liter MultiAir engine. A 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission can be selected. In addition to its charming exterior, it also comes standard with sports suspension and all-season performance tires to enhance handling.

Following its announcement at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the Fiat "500 1957 Edition" is scheduled for delivery in the United States around the spring of 2014. Pricing has not yet been determined.
