Adhering to the Design of the C-X16 Concept

Jaguar Land Rover has previewed the closed-body "F-Type Coupe," derived from the open-top sports car "F-Type" The F-Type Coupe will be publicly unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show, which begins the following day, and will also be displayed at the Tokyo Motor Show on the same dates.

The all-aluminum exterior of the F-Type Coupe follows the design vision of the2011 Frankfurt Motor Show"C-X16 Concept," which was announced at theC-X16 Concept.

Jaguar's Design Director,Ian Callumstated, "The F-Type Convertible has received an overwhelmingly positive reception. For me personally, creating a true sports coupe is one of the most rewarding achievements. The F-Type Coupe, both visually and dynamically, has certainly raised that bar even higher."

The world premiere event will take place on the 19th, on the eve of the Los Angeles Motor Show, but it will be immediately exhibited at the Tokyo Motor Show, which opens on the 20th for the press, marking its Japan premiere.
