In anticipation of the upcoming Tokyo Motor Show, Subaru has announced its exhibition details. The highlight is the world debut of the "LEVORG," a new sports tourer developed specifically for the Japanese market as the successor to the "Legacy Touring Wagon."
The powertrain features a newly developed 1.6-liter horizontally opposed direct-injection turbo "DIT" engine. It is expected to incorporate numerous cutting-edge technologies, including the "next-generation EyeSight" system, which offers advanced steering support control and numerous safety features. Although only a teaser of the design has been released, its flowing lines are evident, and Subaru describes it as a "new sports tourer that transcends the categories of sports cars and wagons."
Furthermore, Subaru will present the Japanese premiere of the "Viziv Future Concept," an evolution of the "Viziv Concept," a next-generation crossover concept with a plug-in hybrid system that was also exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show in September. It incorporates "Auto Pilot System," an advanced safety technology for autonomous driving on highways.
In addition, the "Cross Sports Design Concept," with its compact 4,300mm body offering agile driving while ensuring a comfortable interior and ample luggage space, will have its world premiere. Also on display will be the "Crossover 7 Concept," a 7-seater crossover model that marks a new addition to the SUV lineup.
Subaru has launched a dedicated website for the Tokyo Motor Show. The press conference, to be held by President Yasuyuki Yoshinaga from 8:30 AM on Wednesday, November 20th, will be streamed on "SUBARU-USTREAM."
