The World's Fastest Open-Top Car

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, which recorded a world-best speed of 408.84 km/h for a production open-top car. Bugatti willShanghai Motor Showunveil the commemorative limited edition "World Record Car Edition" at the show, alongside one of the record-setting cars and Chinese driver Anthony Liu, who achieved the feat.



However, the record-achieving car and the limited edition are fundamentally the same as the standard model. It utilizes a W16 engine with a formidable 1,500 Nm of torque and 1,200 hp output, driving all four wheels.

The body color and interior trim are finished in a black and orange two-tone scheme, mirroring the record-setting car. As is characteristic of the "Veyron" with its carbon body, the exterior black finish allows the carbon weave pattern to be visible.

This is a limited edition of 8 units, priced at 1.99 million Euros (approximately 260 million yen).
