The Range Rover Sport occupies the space between the Evoque, the entry-level model in the Range Rover brand, and the Range Rover, the premium model. The new generation inherits the chassis and aluminum body from the higher-tier Range Rover, achieving significant weight reduction. Furthermore, it incorporates various cutting-edge technologies, including five engine options at launch, Terrain Response 2, and a new generation of air suspension, promising to balance the high off-road capability expected of an SUV with sporty on-road performance.
The video above is a promotional film with a storyline featuring British actor Daniel Craig, also known for his role as James Bond in "007," delivering the new Range Rover Sport from shipping containers on a pier to the premiere venue. The title is simply "Delivery."
Along the way, to avoid traffic, he plunges into an underpass marked "Flooded," easily clears a dirt mound with its得意 off-road capabilities, and demonstrates impressive wading depth in a water-filled section. The Range Rover Sport, speeding through Manhattan, seamlessly transitions into real-time footage and makes a live entrance into the venue. Emerging from the driver's seat amidst the roaring cheers of the crowd eagerly awaiting the new model's debut is, of course, Daniel Craig.
