The Smallest S Sedan

The Audi A3 Sedan is the smallest saloon in Audi's lineup. According to Audi, the S3 Sedan will join the lineup just a few months after its release.

As a model bearing the "S" in its name, the S3 Sedan features redesigned bumpers, single-frame grille, air intakes, door mirrors, side sills, and rear spoiler, in line with other S models.other S modelsThe dual chrome exhaust pipes, exiting on both sides, assert its status as a special model.

The powertrain is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the 2.0 TFSI, producing a maximum output of 221 kW (300 ps) and a maximum torque of 380 Nm.

This high-performance engine incorporates the latest technologies, such as dual fuel injection capable of supplying fuel to both the combustion chamber and intake manifold, an exhaust manifold integrated into the cylinder head, Audi Valvelift System, and a rotary valve module for the thermal management system, to achieve performance befitting a sporty model. The drive system is Audi's signature quattro all-wheel drive.

When paired with the dual-clutch transmission, the S tronic, this engine allows the S3 Sedan to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. With a manual transmission, it takes only 5.3 seconds. Continuing to accelerate, the speed is limited to 250 km/h.



Meanwhile, fuel economy is 6.9 L/100 km (approximately 14.5 km/L) for the S tronic model and 7.0 L/100 km (14.3 km/L) for the MT. CO2 emissions are also kept down to 159 g/km (S tronic) and 162 g/km (MT), respectively.

The ride height is 25 mm lower than the standard A3 Sedan due to the sports suspension, and the 18-inch wheels house large brake discs with a diameter of 340 mm at the front. The electric power steering has a variable ratio, offering a somewhat vague feel around the center but becoming more direct when turned deeply.

The "Audi drive select" vehicle setting system is standard, and "Audi magnetic ride damper control" can be optionally equipped.
