Production Version of the "S-Cross"

At theParis Motor Show 2012Suzuki, which unveiled the concept car "S-Cross" at the Paris Motor Show 2012, announced that the production version of the new crossover developed from it will make its world premiere at this March's Geneva Motor Show, with a phased market launch beginning in Europe.

While the new crossover is believed to be the production version of the "S-Cross," which was speculated to be the successor to the "SX4," detailed information such as the vehicle name, body size, powertrain, and specifications has not been released. However, regarding body size, it has been announced as "Suzuki's first C-segment crossover," placing it one class above the "SX4." This means it will compete in the same class as Suzuki's "Escudo," Nissan's "Dualis," and Mazda's"CX-5"and others.

In addition to this "new crossover vehicle," which is said to feature high off-road performance thanks to the four-wheel-drive technology accumulated from the "Jimny" and "Escudo," Suzuki plans to exhibit its core models including the "Swift," "Splash," "Alto," "Jimny," "Escudo (Grand Vitara)," and "SX4," among other global strategic vehicles.
