A Diverse Exhibition

An open-top version will appear for the “8686,” which is sold in Europe as the “GT86.” As its name, “FT-86 Open Concept,” suggests, it is still a concept model. Toyota will exhibit it at the Geneva Motor Show to gauge audience reaction and conduct engineering tests with prototypes before deciding whether to put it into production.

Additionally, the company plans to showcase an eco-friendly city commuter concept called the “i-Road.” However, beyond the fact that it is a two-seater, details such as its powertrain have not yet been released.

Also to be shown with production in mind is the fourth-generation “RAV4,” which had its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November and has already gone on sale in the United States. For Europe, the Geneva Motor Show will mark its first public unveiling.

Another model intended for production is the “Auris Touring Sports.” This is a wagon variant of the compact car “Auris,” developed in the UK. The European version of the “Auris” is available as a hybrid, and it is expected that this wagon variant will also feature a hybrid option.
