The Latest and Fastest Open-Top GT

Bentley recorded strong sales of 8,510 units worldwide in 2012. The largest market for Bentley, accounting for 2,315 of those sales, is the United States. At the North American International Auto Show, commonly known as the Detroit Motor Show, held in the US, Bentley's star attraction was the world premiere of the "Continental GT Speed Convertible."

Wolfgang Schreiber, Bentley's Chairman, stated the following:

"The new Continental GT Speed Convertible is a breathtaking grand tourer that promises supercar performance, high-end luxury, and the thrill of open-top motoring. With the unveiling of this model, we will maintain Bentley's position as the world's premier luxury car brand and continue to grow."



Regarding the specifications, Bentley's renowned 6.0-liter W12 twin-turbo engine, a leader in 12-cylinder engines, produces 625 ps. Paired with a close-ratio 8-speed automatic transmission, it drives all four wheels fitted with 21-inch tires. The suspension is firmer and the ride height lower than the standard model, essentially mirroring the coupe version.

However, the top speed is slightly reduced from the coupe model's 330 km/h. Nevertheless, the published figure is 325 km/h, allowing for acceleration to a remarkable speed for an open-top four-seater.

The exterior is characterized by exhaust pipes engraved with rifle-like fluting. Inside, the driver is welcomed by a luxurious interior crafted by artisans.

At Bentley's stand in Detroit, the " Continental GT V8" will also be on display.
