The 4WD version of the third-generation Panda, announced in advance, thePanda 4x4"Panda 4x4" was unveiled. Fiat classifies it as a mini SUV, and it is a vehicle full of versatility.

The body dimensions are 368cm in length, 167cm in width, and 160cm in height, with a wheelbase of 230cm, and front and rear tracks of 141cm and 140cm, respectively. As previously reported, the body colors available are the pastel Sicily Orange and the metallic Tuscany Green.

It is said to achieve genuine off-road performance and high safety thanks to its torque-on-demand 4WD and ELD (Electronic Locking Differential).

There are two engine variations: a 0.9-liter TwinAir turbo with a maximum output of 95ps, and a 1.3-liter MultiJet II diesel with 75ps. Both come standard with the "Start & Stop" idling stop function.

In addition, Fiat is also exhibiting the "Panda Trekking," a 2WD version with 4WD-like functions and equipment, and the "Panda Natural Power," which uses natural gas as fuel and outputs 80ps from a 0.9-liter two-cylinder TwinAir Turbo engine.

The "500L" which is positioned as the 4-door version of the 500 (Cinquecento), has a body measuring 415cm in length, 178cm in width, and 166cm in height, with a wheelbase of 261cm, and is advertised as comfortably seating five adults. It comes with three engine options: a 105ps 0.9-liter TwinAir, a 95ps 1.4-liter gasoline engine, or an 85ps 1.3-liter MultiJet II diesel engine.

The announcement highlights three distinctive optional features.

The first is the audio system. It features a Hi-Fi system developed in collaboration with the American company Beats, a first for the Fiat Group. The 500L, to be released in Europe this October, will be equipped with a 6.1-channel speaker system when the Beats Hi-Fi system is selected.

The second is the world's first, as claimed by the manufacturer, integrated Lavazza capsule espresso machine. A dedicated socket is provided in the vehicle, allowing occupants to enjoy freshly brewed Italian espresso. This feature will be available as an option in Europe from December, and when selected, will include a dedicated console in the cabin, along with holders for coffee capsules, spoons, and sugar.

The final feature is the "living" leather interior, inspired by the interior design. Perforated leather in either grey/black or beige/dark grey can be chosen. This option is scheduled to be available from next year.

While there has been no announcement regarding its introduction to Japan, it is an anticipated model as the 4-door version of the highly popular 500 (Cinquecento).
