The Ultimate 500
The "Fiat 500 Turbo" is equipped with a 1.4-liter MultiAir engine and a turbocharger with an intercooler. It delivers a maximum output of 135 ps and a peak torque of 150 lb.-ft (203 Nm). Beyond the engine, it features a sports suspension, track-tuned brakes, and a sport-tuned exhaust. The interior and exterior also boast sportier elements than the standard 500, including a rear spoiler, side skirts, and 16-inch wheels.
Compared to the standard 500, this "500 Turbo" achieves a 34 percent increase in maximum output and a 53 percent increase in peak torque. Its performance ranks second only to the "500 Abarth" sold in the U.S., which boasts 160 ps and 170 lb-ft (230 Nm) of torque, making it the most powerful in the "500" lineup.
The sales price in the U.S. is set at $19,500, with deliveries scheduled to begin this autumn.
