For Supreme Rear Seat Comfort
Jaguar XJ Ultimate—As its name suggests, this car is the "ultimate" comfort model, reigning at the top of Jaguar's lineup. It was developed with a particular focus on the rear seats.
Specifically, two seats are provided in the stretched rear section. These seats are not only lavishly upholstered in leather but also feature seat heating, cooling, and even a massage function. Furthermore, the seat behind the front passenger can be remotely controlled from the rear seats. This means that if you desire "more legroom," you can slide the unoccupied front passenger seat forward.
What makes this car feel so elegant is undoubtedly the center console situated between these two seats. It features a tilt function, allowing you to keep a full bottle of champagne at the perfect temperature. With a table designed to hold two champagne glasses securely, it promises a comfortable space that belies its nature as a moving vehicle.
Additionally, this console houses the remote controller for the entertainment system located in front of the rear seats, and allows for easy adjustment of the air conditioning. The monitor also features a touchscreen, making operation intuitive.
And beneath the monitors embedded in the back of the front headrests, there's even an iPad. This setup allows for connection to personal portable devices, enabling you to select music from your usual sources, or continue with work or games. The inclusion of an iPad is a novel approach.
The Jaguar XJ Ultimate is based on the long-wheelbase XJ and can be chosen with one of three engines: a 3-liter V6 turbo-diesel, a new 3-liter V6 supercharged, or a 5-liter V8 supercharged. The V6 diesel produces 275ps (600Nm), the V6 supercharged delivers 340ps (450Nm), and the V8 offers 510ps (625Nm) of maximum output.
