Equipped with Sporty Tires
The "Mulsanne" is Bentley's flagship model, representing the pinnacle of luxury saloons in the automotive world. Simultaneously, powered by a 6.75-liter turbocharged V8 engine producing a maximum output of 512ps and a peak torque of 1020Nm, it achieves 0-100km/h in 5.3 seconds and a top speed of 296km/h. It has been revealed that the "Mulliner Driving Specification," which further refines the Mulsanne's sporty character, will be exhibited at the 82nd Geneva International Motor Show.
The first topic concerns the two-piece lightweight alloy wheels and 265/40 ZR21 tires exclusive to the Mulliner Driving Specification. According to Bentley, these will further accentuate the Mulsanne's powerful yet elegant stance. Customers can choose between painted or polished finishes, and an optional self-leveling wheel badge, which keeps the "B" emblem on the wheel center fixed even while driving, can also be fitted.
The wing vents on the front fenders are crafted from cast, polished stainless steel, inspired by Bentley's iconic "Flying B" emblem, and will be engraved with the "Mulliner" script.
A More Luxurious Interior
The newly developed leather perforation process for the Mulliner Driving Specification enables a pattern of precise diamond shapes arranged neatly with unperforated lines on the seats and door cards. Furthermore, an optional seat ventilation system can be integrated into these seats.
The accelerator and brake pedals are made of drilled alloy. A dedicated Mulliner nameplate will be affixed to the vertical surface of the door sills for the driver's and front passenger's seats.
Mulsanne-Exclusive Options Also Revealed
Two new options will also be available for all Mulsanne models.
One is a storage area and cooler capable of holding two full-size champagne bottles diagonally. A satin-finish glass door opens with the touch of a button, revealing three champagne flutes designed exclusively for Bentley by David Redman of London. These flutes can be placed in chrome holders that slide out from the central seat cushion.
The other is a sunroof. A large, tinted glass sunroof with a tilt function will now be available for installation in the front cabin.
