Toyota to Reissue and Sell AE86 Parts
As part of its "GR Heritage Parts Project," Toyota Gazoo Racing has reissued and begun reselling spare parts for the Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno, both domestically and internationally.

The Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno were cherished as the sporty models of the "Corolla" and "Sprinter" series. Among them, the FR model equipped with the newly developed and highly acclaimed 1.6-liter DOHC engine, the "4A-GEU," is still popular today under the nickname "AE86" or "Hachi-Roku." Its legacy continues to be significant, with models like the "GR86," released in October 2021, and the "86," released in 2012, inheriting the tradition of the AE86.
Sprinter Trueno
The "GR Heritage Parts Project" aims to meet the desire of those who wish to continue driving their beloved cars, by reissuing and reselling spare parts that have already been discontinued as genuine parts. Previously, parts for the A70/A80 Supra, Toyota 2000GT, and Land Cruiser 40 series have been reissued, and the AE86 is the next model to follow.
Like regular genuine parts, these can be purchased at Toyota dealerships. Starting in December, in addition to the Toyota 2000GT, reissued parts including those for the AE86 will also be available at JAMES stores nationwide and the online "TOYOTA Gazoo Racing Rakuten Ichiba Store." However, due to limited production with special cooperation from suppliers, sales will be limited to existing stock once the production period at the factory ends.
Details such as part numbers, prices, and production periods will be sequentially released on the "GR Heritage Parts Website" as they become available. Sales of the rear brake caliper and steering knuckle arm have already begun, and sales of the rear drive shaft are scheduled to start on December 1st.
