Radar Cruise Control with All-Speed Follow is impressive

On the other hand, the integrated safety and driver assistance system named 'Toyota Safety Sense' (optional) is also noteworthy. I was particularly impressed by the 'Proactive Driving Assist,' which automatically decelerates the vehicle by linking with the navigation system's map data.
When approaching a vehicle ahead, releasing the pressure on the accelerator pedal results in strong deceleration. Even on downhill slopes, the deceleration assist maintains the same following distance to the vehicle ahead while driving.
The Radar Cruise Control with All-Speed Follow (optional) also operated accurately during my test drive. There were no concerns regarding lane positioning or cornering. It was truly impressive. On highways, it supports lane changes by accelerating and decelerating in response to the speed and distance of surrounding vehicles, linked to the turn signal lever. Although I didn't get to experience this feature, it seems highly reliable.
The cabin is remarkably quiet. Road noise and wind noise from the windows and roof are not intrusive. The optional 12-speaker 'Display Audio Plus' system delivers high-quality sound, with a youthful tone that emphasizes bass. It makes both indie rock and older jazz enjoyable. It's a testament to the well-crafted interior space.
It also caters to those who prioritize functionality. The packaging, which fully utilizes the 2850mm wheelbase, is excellent. Even with the third-row seats installed, there is still ample cargo space. Furthermore, the third-row seats, which can be easily folded up (along with their installation), are usable by adults. This was also quite impressive.
There are two powertrain options: a 2-liter gasoline engine and the hybrid model discussed here. Both are available in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The gasoline version uses a mechanical 4WD system, while the hybrid employs a motor to drive the rear wheels.
Initial sales suggest that the hybrid 4WD (E-Four) model is performing well. After test driving various options, I personally found the front-wheel-drive hybrid to be perfectly suitable for everyday use.
Pricing starts at 2.67 million yen for the 'X' grade of the gasoline front-wheel-drive Noah, which serves as the base model. The Voxy, with its more aggressive exterior designed to appeal to those previously uninterested in minivans, starts at 3.09 million yen for the 'S-G' grade.
The hybrid models start at 3.05 million yen for the Noah 'X' front-wheel drive and 3.44 million yen for the Voxy 'S-G' front-wheel drive. The 4WD versions begin at 3.27 million yen for the Noah and 3.66 million yen for the Voxy.
In addition to the base models, a wide array of optional packages are available. The 'Comfortable Convenience Package High' (a must-have) includes features like power sliding doors, a power tailgate, and second-row captain's seat ottomans, priced at an additional 151,800 yen. The 'Display Audio Plus' (193,000 yen) is also a desirable option. The ability to customize the vehicle to your preferences might be part of its appeal.
