Thorough Body Reinforcement for a "Refined yet Profound" Driving Experience
Across the entire new NX lineup, the chassis has been fundamentally re-engineered and the body thoroughly reinforced to achieve Lexus's "refined yet profound" driving feel. This includes changing the hub and wheel connection to a hub bolt system, adopting a twin-lock mechanism for the engine hood to enhance front rigidity, reducing the pitch of spot welds, expanding the use of laser screw welding and structural adhesives, increasing rigidity around the instrument panel, and implementing a double-ring structure for the rear gate frame.

The vehicle incorporates numerous innovations, such as the e-latch system for doors that open with minimal force, a cockpit designed with the Tazuna concept for intuitive operation with minimal eye movement, a large 14-inch touch display, a HUD with Touch Tracer Operation that shows the position of the steering wheel switches being touched by the driver, and the "Proactive Driving Assist" which automatically reduces speed and maintains distance on downhill slopes.

While the exterior design is largely a carry-over, the internal advancements are substantial. Furthermore, it is more reasonably priced than European premium competitors in the same size class. Its convenient dimensions (4,660mm length x 1,865mm width x 1,660mm height) perfectly suit users who find the RX too large and the UX too cramped in the rear seats or cargo space. Pricing ranges from 7.14 million to 7.38 million yen for the 450h+, 5.20 million to 6.35 million yen for the 350h, 5.99 million yen for the 350 F Sport, and 4.55 million to 5.70 million yen for the 250.
