The New BMW 7 Series boasts numerous features. One is its styling. It has become significantly more elegant, enhancing the image of grace and boldness inherent in BMW vehicles. This is highly appealing. The front grille is larger, flanked by headlamps with a beautiful sheen. Elegance is subtly incorporated within its powerful presence.

Moving to the side, a flowing character line runs from front to rear, creating a sense of dynamism. When selected, the suspension system, steering, and transmission automatically adjust to best match the road conditions and driving style. The body has been significantly lightened using the expensive yet lightweight "Carbon Core" material, and engine efficiency has been improved. Consequently, fuel economy has also improved (thus reducing CO2 emissions per kilometer). The 740i boasts a fuel efficiency of 12.2 km/liter (JC08 mode). Despite being a large sedan, the way the latest technology enhances its environmental performance is also a unique characteristic.

This is said to achieve a comfortable ride with reduced body lean.

The rear seats offer more than just ample space. With the "Rear Seat Entertainment Experience," various controls are possible via a tablet device integrated into the center armrest. This system, named "BMW Touch Command," allows operation of seat position, roller blind adjustment, climate control settings, audio entertainment, and even navigation in a manner similar to using a tablet.

There is one more feature that could be considered an "extra" for driving comfort: "Remote Parking Control." This technology allows the driver to move the vehicle in and out of parking spaces using the display key from outside the car. It's the latest system for completely stress-free parking.
