Powered by a 525ps 6.3-liter V8 Engine

The new E63 AMG, based on the new E-Class, is distinguished by its 6.3-liter V8 engine developed by Mercedes-AMG, boasting 525ps (386kW) of power, and the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT (7-speed automatic transmission with electronic control) which utilizes a wet multi-plate clutch for direct accelerator response and swift gear changes.

While the 6.3-liter V8 unit increases output by 11ps compared to the previous generation, it achieves over 10% better fuel efficiency through measures such as reduced internal engine friction and an efficient transmission.

The chassis features a newly designed front axle for enhanced performance, along with the electronically controlled AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension, rear air suspension, and AMG sports steering. These components ensure that while maintaining the E-Class's characteristic comfort, the car can also handle demanding driving conditions.

The exterior, with its specially designed front spoiler and wide front fenders, gives the E63 AMG an aggressive stance befitting AMG. The interior has been significantly enhanced in sportiness and premium feel with AMG sports seats and AMG sports steering upholstered in supple leather, an AMG instrument cluster with unique AMG functions, and the AMG DRIVE UNIT system, which centralizes drive mode selection switches on the center console.
