Exquisite Finish Befitting the Top-Tier Model
AMG's mission is to deliver supreme high-performance models by infusing the already highly capable Mercedes with know-how accumulated through motorsports activities. At the pinnacle of this lineup stand the "CL65 AMG" and "CL63 AMG," developed from Mercedes' luxury coupe.
The exterior, distinguished from the base "CL-Class" by its sharp, assertive presence, features a unique front grille, along with a front spoiler and side and rear skirts designed to enhance aerodynamic performance. The AMG-exclusive large-diameter wheels hint at the surging engine power.
Beneath the hood lies a meticulously crafted engine, with each assembly process overseen by a single master craftsman. A plate bearing the master's name proudly adorns the engine's head cover. The CL65 AMG is powered by a formidable 6-liter V12 twin-turbo engine producing an astonishing 612 ps and 1000 Nm. Meanwhile, the CL63 AMG employs AMG's independently developed 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8, delivering 525 ps and 630 Nm.
The transmission is a specially designed AMG Speedshift paired with AMG paddle shifters, and the chassis is further enhanced with a reinforced braking system and sports suspension, all engineered to fully harness the engine's capabilities. Yet, the true brilliance of AMG lies in its ability to offer a more refined interior and a sophisticated ride than the base models. It is, indeed, an exquisite finish befitting the top-tier model.

BRAND HISTORY
When tracing the history of automobiles, the pioneers we arrive at are two Germans: Gottlieb Daimler and Karl Benz. It goes without saying that these two men, independently creating gasoline-powered automobiles between 1885 and 1886, laid the foundation for our automotive society. Although their respective automotive companies were at times seen as rivals, they joined forces to overcome the post-World War I recession, leading to the establishment of Daimler-Benz AG through their merger in 1926.
The name "Mercedes," given to the products, originated when Emil Jellinek, a client of Daimler's, had his eldest daughter's name used as the brand name in exchange for taking over sales outside of Germany. It was registered as a trademark by Daimler-Benz AG in 1902.
Thus born, Mercedes, and subsequently Mercedes-Benz, has continued to lead the way in automotive development, actively introducing cutting-edge technologies such as the safety passenger cell, airbags, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), and Night View, consistently staying at the forefront of the era.
