Select from four noble wax scents
RIGAUD was founded as a perfume house in 1852. Based on meticulously selected, high-quality fragrances and perfumery, its elegant wax scents, which contain a higher proportion of fragrance than typical eaux de toilette, are known as "perfume for spaces." When lit, the wax liquefies, allowing the fragrance to be fully enjoyed in a short burning time. Furthermore, like perfume, the scents are structured to transition from top notes through middle notes to base notes, creating an elegant experience.
This season, the limited edition "Coffret Noel 2011" has been released, designed to elegantly adorn the holiday season with fragrance, Christmas-colored candles, and a special wreath. The candle can be chosen from four types. "Reine de la Nuit" in midnight blue offers a fresh top note of freesia, gardenia, and mandarin, leading to a sweet floral middle note of night-blooming cereus (Reine de la Nuit) and orange blossom, finally settling into a rich, transparent scent of sandalwood.
The wine-red "Jardin d’ Orient" features fresh citrus and esperide notes enveloped by the scent of innocence and wood. A subtle honey aroma lingers in the base, creating a warm and perfect candle for winter.
"Bois Précieux" is brown in color. It features a woody accord with top notes of lemon and bergamot, a hint of cloves, and a base of patchouli, teak, and sandalwood, offering an exotic touch reminiscent of a deep forest. Lastly, the green "Cypres." Based on a blend of cypress and cedar, it exudes a natural and rich aromatic note. This was RIGAUD's very first candle, and it remains beloved by many even half a century after its creation.
The set also includes a custom-made wreath, designed to perfectly hold RIGAUD candles, evoking a modern, white Christmas in Paris and further enhancing the festive atmosphere.
