Change Your Makeup by Changing Your Brushes!
The 17 items—including the previously released portable slide-type brushes, base makeup brushes addressing skin concerns, and eye makeup brushes with enhanced functionality—are all crafted in Kumano, Hiroshima, a region renowned for its high-quality brush production. They combine superior quality, the functionality women desire, and stylish design, bringing a fresh surprise to your everyday makeup.
The new base makeup brushes focus on two common concerns for many women: fine lines caused by dryness and visible pores. Each brush is meticulously designed with attention to material, bristle shape, and other details to suit different skin types, ensuring optimal performance and a gentle feel on the skin.
Base Makeup Brushes: Choose from Two Types
Type D is ideal for those concerned about fine lines or experiencing discomfort from brushes on dry skin. Through careful consideration of bristle density and tip shape, these brushes offer a soft touch while smoothly conforming to even the finest lines.
The Foundation Brush D uses a generous amount of finer bristles than standard brushes, densely packed to create a plump, rounded shape. This ensures a soft application and allows for broad, even coverage in a single sweep, preventing a heavy finish and potentially speeding up makeup application.
The Face Brush D utilizes "Sokkoho," the softest hair from the throat of a goat. Its base is flat, tapering to a rounded tip, allowing for smooth, even powder application across the face with just a few strokes. The Cheek Brush D employs "Tankoho," which is even smoother and softer than Sokkoho, for a gentle touch on the cheeks. Its pointed tip rounds out when placed on the skin, enabling a soft, beautiful color application with a light tapping motion followed by a gentle sweep.
Type O is designed for those concerned about pores or oily skin prone to makeup breakdown, who prefer a light base application. For skin with enlarged pores around the cheeks and nose, these brushes ensure foundation and powder adhere well to fill in pores, while also helping to prevent makeup from breaking down on oily skin.
The Foundation Brush O, developed to address pore concerns, features bristles angled and tapered on one side. When used with a circular motion perpendicular to the skin, it effectively fills pores. The pointed tip easily reaches uneven areas like the sides of the nose and under the eyes, ensuring a seamless finish.
The Face Brush O, like the Face Brush D, uses "Sokkoho." Its flattened tip, when swirled over the skin, ensures powder settles into pore irregularities, creating a smoother-looking surface. The Cheek Brush O, with its rounded, widely spread bristles, provides a soft finish. Swirling it on the cheeks helps it conform to enlarged pores, camouflaging uneven skin texture.
Don't Miss the 7 Eye Makeup Brushes!
Seven eye makeup brushes, crucial for the focal point of any look, are also introduced. With carefully selected bristle types and shapes tailored for blending and lining, these brushes maximize the expression of eyeshadow nuances. Achieve your desired eye makeup effortlessly, regardless of technique or time.
