"Sion Kyoto" is an all-hand salon that orchestrates the total beauty of each guest through the warmth of touch and the warmth of heart.

Regarding the opening, Teruko Kobayashi shared, "As a beauty researcher, I have touched the skin of tens of thousands of people and pursued the creation of human charm. Some people call my hands 'magic hands.' Come to think of it, all my beauty work begins with conveying the warmth of my hands, leading to the realization of warm skin and a warm heart. The salon's name, 'Sion' (至温), embodies this sentiment."

The salon offers body and facial treatments, as well as hair and makeup services, with a focus on total advice for both outer and inner beauty. They also provide home care advice to help clients maintain salon-level care in their daily lives.



A key difference from ordinary beauty salons is the proposal of visiting once or twice a month, always including a beauty check during each visit. This approach fosters the joy of external refinement while drawing out inner beauty, forming the basis of their beauty consulting.

Sion offers unique programs such as the "Happy Makeup 7-Week Program," where Sion artists provide intensive, seven-week instruction covering everything from skin analysis and skin treatments to makeup, traditional Japanese makeup, and Western-style hair and makeup, including nails. They also feature "Stress Eyes," a vein treatment available only at a select few salons nationwide, and "Vinofi Treatment," a facial treatment that stimulates deeper veins than traditional massage to rapidly expel waste products.

Beauty researcher and makeup artist. Researched beauty at KOSÉ Corporation for many years, creating "natural makeup" that enhances individual uniqueness. As a makeup artist, she has shaped the image of countless individuals, from actresses to the general public, for shows, advertisements, television, and stage, earning the reputation of having "magic hands" for her ability to make anyone look beautifully radiant.
After retiring as a director at KOSÉ Corporation, she established B. Fine Research Institute, Inc. in 1991. In 1997, she opened the revitalizing salon "Cream" (now in Omotesando) in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo. It became a hidden gem in the city, attracting numerous fans from ordinary women to politicians and actresses. She also focuses on nurturing the next generation as the principal of From Hand Makeup Academy and Aoyama Beauty College High School, supporting the dreams and passions of young people.
