Introducing Numerous "Maison Fragrances"
Relocated in February 2007 near the central escalator, the fragrance corner has been reborn into a more visible, calm, and sophisticated space. Approximately 30 brands are beautifully displayed, with a circular fragrance bar in the center. You can try various scents in a luxurious atmosphere.
"We introduced the fragrance bar for the first time during the renovation. The products displayed at the bar are selected based on a different theme each time. We believe this allows customers to enjoy choosing fragrances even more," says Mai Okabe, Assistant Buyer.
Customer service is provided by fragrance experts with specialized knowledge of scents. They offer advice and answer any questions about fragrances. They are a reliable presence when you are unsure or want help finding a scent that suits you.
The product selection also shines with originality. Previously, the focus was on trendy fashion brand fragrances, but after the renovation, they now feature many "Maison Fragrances" – rare and valuable scents crafted with dedication using traditional brands and methods from overseas (Maison means "house," "family," or "homemade" in French). Many of these brands are directly imported by Isetan, making them a must-see.
"We are constantly researching even rarer fragrances, such as those available only during the season when the ingredients can be harvested, which are difficult to obtain even in their home countries," says Okabe.
Introducing Isetan's Curated Fragrance Brands
Carthusia
Born on the island of Capri in southern Italy. Until 2002, this fragrance was exclusive to Capri, even within Italy, and was not allowed to leave the island. Most of the high-quality natural ingredients are hand-picked on Capri. The final production steps are all done by hand in the workshop.
Fiori di Capri Eau de Toilette
A floral note based on lily of the valley and wild carnations native to Capri. A captivating scent blended with notes of amber, sandalwood, ylang-ylang, and oak.

Fracas Eau de Parfum by Robert Piguet
Robert Piguet
Robert Piguet, the legendary designer who laid the foundation for haute couture. After his death, his haute couture maison and fragrances disappeared from the world. However, since 2000, the fragrances have been revived using their original recipes. In Japan, they are exclusively available at Isetan Shinjuku Store.
Fracas Eau de Parfum
Robert Piguet's signature fragrance, launched in 1947. It was inducted into the FIFI Awards Hall of Fame (a prestigious award often called the "Academy Awards of Fragrance") in 2006.

Founded in Paris in 1991 by Marie-Hélène Rogjon, this is a perfume house specializing in rose scents. They offer 12 rose fragrances, catering to women and men seeking a unique scent that transcends trends.
Diabolo Rose
A refreshing drink popular in France during summer, made by mixing mint syrup with sparkling water or lemonade. A scent that evokes fun times with friends.
Poussiere de Rose
A mist shower where rose petals sparkle like stardust. A warm, soft, and elegant scent, like the heart of a nostalgic yet active woman.
