The "MTG-B1000XBD" and "MTG-B1000XB," commemorating the MTG series' 20th anniversary, will be released on October 5, 2019. Based on the "MTG-B1000," which balances high functionality like smartphone link and radio-controlled solar power with a mid-size that fits comfortably on the wrist, these models mark the first time a carbon bezel has been adopted in the series.

Carbon is characterized by its lightness, comparable to resin, yet with rigidity equal to or exceeding that of metal. While difficult to process, particularly through cutting, advancements in layered three-dimensional molding and cutting techniques have made it possible to use this material for complex bezel components.

The bezel is formed by layering multiple sheets, each combining resin with either a carbon weave or a colored fiber weave, into a three-dimensional shape. The "MTG-B1000XBD" incorporates a layer of red colored fiber weave, while the "MTG-B1000XB" uses white. These colored layers provide an accent, creating a striking contrast with the black carbon when viewed from the side. From the front, the watch showcases the beautiful weave pattern unique to carbon. This design highlights the material and structure, offering a variety of expressions.

The red "MTG-B1000XBD" features a layer composite band, which achieves lightness by layering fine resin on the back of metal parts. The blue "MTG-B1000XB" is equipped with a soft urethane band for a comfortable fit. The connection between the band and case uses a combination of fine resin and metal parts, resulting in a model that embodies both strength and beauty.
