From MR-G, the top-tier series of the shock-resistant watch G-SHOCK, comes the MRG-B5000R. This model combines the original square form of G-SHOCK with a comfortable Dura Soft Band and will be released on Friday, January 19, 2024.

MR-G is the top-tier series of G-SHOCK, pursuing the ultimate tough watch by incorporating cutting-edge technology and expert metalworking techniques. The new MRG-B5000R in this series inherits the iconic square form and coloring of the first G-SHOCK model. It utilizes advanced materials, including the high-hardness alloy COBARION® for the bezel, titanium for the case, and a soft-touch fluoro-rubber Dura Soft Band.

The design is based on the MRG-B5000 released in March 2023. The coloring is an homage to the first G-SHOCK, the DW-5000C-1B. The titanium case features DLC coating, the side buttons have a gold IP treatment, and gold accent colors are applied to the face.

The bezel is composed of 25 parts, each meticulously polished. Furthermore, a "Multi-Guard Structure" using stainless steel springs and silicone cushioning material between bezel parts protects the module from external shocks.

Additionally, the comfortable Dura Soft Band features the SHOCK RESIST mark and brick pattern texture, symbolizing the face design of the first model. This allows the watch to be worn not only in formal settings befitting a top-tier series but also in active situations.

In addition to the Dura Soft Band's resistance to discoloration, dirt, and degradation, titanium parts are incorporated into the strap's attachment to the case, ensuring high strength. The buckle uses a titanium one-push three-fold clasp, contributing to a stylish design. The MRG-B5000R is a model that combines strength and beauty while inheriting the design elements of the first model.
