G-Shock x Porter Special Case That Will Charm Adults!!!!

A limited edition model, the "AWM-500GC-1AJR," featuring a special case created in collaboration with Porter, is now available. This model is a full-metal version of the AWM-500 series, which is G-Shock's first analog-digital model. It will be released on Friday, October 29, 2021.

Shock Resistance Graph on Dial and Case Adds Design Accent

The "AW-500G" is one of G-Shock's most iconic models. It was first released overseas in 1989 and then in Japan in 1993, when G-Shock's popularity surged domestically. It was an immensely popular model in the 90s.

The "AWM-500GC-1AJR" being released this time is a full-metal version of the "AW-500G-1" equipped with radio-controlled timekeeping and solar charging. A key feature is the realistic reproduction of the shock resistance graph, printed in gold on the dial. The stainless steel bezel and band are finished with a DLC coating, which offers excellent abrasion resistance, in an elegant black color reminiscent of Porter's iconic hues.

Additionally, a special case, produced in collaboration with Porter, is included. Designed with attention to the details of the AW-500G, the zipper pull is inspired by the hour and minute hands in red and gold, and the top surface of the leather features a hot-stamped shock resistance graph.

The sides and back are made of a nylon twill fabric with an elegant sheen. The case is equipped with a handle and a shoulder strap, allowing for unique and easy portability.
