ZENITH has collaborated with Japanese bag brand PORTER. A new pilot's watch collection featuring khaki ceramic has arrived. The collection, themed around journeys, includes two models – the Pilot Automatic and the Pilot Big Date Flyback – along with specially designed bags. Each model is released in a limited edition of 500 pieces.

This collaboration expresses the joy of the journey itself through watches and bags. ZENITH has provided specialized timepieces and instruments since the dawn of aviation. Its history traces back to "PILOT," a trademark registered in 1888 by founder Georges Favre-Jacot. ZENITH's Pilot watch collection boasts a long tradition in the world of aviation watches, earning high acclaim for its reliability and functionality.

PORTER, founded in 1962, continues to create bags that blend minimalist design with high functionality. Since its inception, products crafted by Japanese artisans have garnered immense popularity due to their superior materials and meticulous attention to detail. In 2023, ZENITH's Pilot collection was redesigned, introducing models that reflect both past and present aviation history. The design, with its emphasis on durability, legibility, and intuitive operation, directly aligns with PORTER's philosophy of bag making. This limited edition model features a modern classic design infused with PORTER's signature touch.

The Pilot Automatic Porter Edition features a specially designed 40mm khaki ceramic case. Its flat-top round bezel and matte-finished case evoke the signature khaki tones of PORTER bags. The large crown, made of black PVD-coated steel, prioritizes ease of use. The dial is finished with a wavy texture, inspired by the metal sheets of early aircraft, and features the ZENITH and PORTER logos on its khaki surface.

The hour, minute, and second hands are accented in orange, enhancing legibility. Orange is also a signature color for PORTER, historically used on the lining of flight jackets to improve visibility for rescue. The date window at 6 o'clock, with its white Super-LumiNova luminous hour markers, is designed to resemble an aircraft's artificial horizon.

This timepiece comes with two straps: a khaki nylon strap and a khaki rubber strap. The nylon strap features PORTER's logo and distinctive orange Velcro detailing, while the rubber strap is equipped with a black PVD-finished folding buckle. Both are interchangeable without tools thanks to the quick-change strap system.

The Pilot Big Date Flyback Porter Edition boasts a 42.5mm khaki ceramic case with black PVD-coated pushers. It houses the high-frequency El Primero automatic chronograph caliber, featuring a big date display and a flyback function. The design prioritizes legibility, with orange hands set against a khaki dial.

The case back reveals a rotor designed to resemble an artificial horizon, with the PORTER logo engraved beneath the sapphire crystal. This model also includes both a khaki nylon Velcro strap and a khaki rubber strap, offering a blend of functionality and design.

Notably, the collaboration watches come with a watch bag designed by PORTER. The bag features numerous pockets, reflecting PORTER's signature practicality. The exterior is finished in khaki, the interior in ZENITH's signature blue, and it includes an original drawstring pouch bearing both brands' logos.

The Pilot Automatic Porter Edition and the Pilot Big Date Flyback Porter Edition will be available at ZENITH boutiques worldwide, the online boutique, and PORTER's flagship stores.
