The Tambour Worldtime Runway Universal Journey, a premium watch paying homage to the "essence of travel" inherited by Louis Vuitton, has been released.

Since its debut in 2002, the Tambour has consistently offered new surprises while establishing its position as a classical timepiece. Now, the new Tambour Worldtime Runway Universal Journey has been born, featuring a design with enhanced legibility and an evolved world time function.

Equipped with the new automatic LV107 caliber movement, developed and assembled entirely in-house by the master watchmakers at Louis Vuitton's watchmaking atelier, La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, this model features prominent hour and minute hands instead of a rotating disc. This design optimizes the legibility of universal time, allowing for instantaneous reading of all 24 time zones at a glance. When the time indicated by the central hands corresponds to the city at the 12 o'clock position, the local time in other capitals can be read using the Arabic numeral indexes.

The dial was crafted by the Maison's dial makers. The initials of each of the 24 cities are designed to appear as if floating above the disk. The main colors employed are black, white, and yellow, inspired by the beautiful aviation designs found on airport runways worldwide. By taking the airplane, the most contemporary mode of transport, as its theme, it pays homage to Louis Vuitton's DNA: the "essence of travel."

The case, made of stainless steel with a black sandblasted PVD coating, is complemented by an 18K pink gold bezel and crown, along with a black rubber strap, creating a sporty yet precious impression. The strap can be interchanged with a single touch, without tools, allowing for customization to suit one's mood or occasion.
