New Manero Peripherial Big Date: Power Reserve, Day, and Big Date Displays in Elegant Harmony
CARL F. BUCHERER presents the new Manero Peripherial Big Date, closing out 2021. Based on the in-house CFB A2000 caliber, it features a peripheral movement and displays for the big date and power reserve. Available in two colorways—grey & olive green, and light blue & beige—each with a choice of textile strap or stainless steel bracelet, for a total of four models.
An Elegant Watch That Adds a Calm Atmosphere to the Overall Style
From CARL F. BUCHERER, a Swiss watchmaker based in Lucerne, comes the new Manero Peripherial Big Date. This striking, contemporary timepiece is powered by the in-house developed CFB A2011 caliber with a peripheral rotor. The dial features a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock, a power reserve indicator at 3 o'clock, a day display at 9 o'clock, and the big date display at 10 o'clock, from which the watch derives its name, showcasing a superb harmony of design and technology.
Regarding this timepiece, SASCHA MOELLI, CEO of CARL F. BUCHERER, stated: "We are delighted to present our second watch this year featuring peripheral technology. Following the success of the 'Manero Minute Repeater Symphony,' we were able to widely communicate a key aspect of our brand identity in April. With the 'Manero Peripherial Big Date,' our manufacturing capabilities and innovative spirit are clearly demonstrated. The 'Manero Peripherial Big Date' is a magnificent watch where design, materials, and technology are in perfect harmony, emphasizing the Maison & Heritage brand world. It elegantly conveys what we wish to communicate when speaking of the excellence of modern Swiss watchmaking born in Lucerne, wouldn't you agree?"
Drawing inspiration from its own archives, including the popular colorful "Manero Power Reserve" models like Mr. Blue and Mr. Green, CARL F. BUCHERER has crafted this timepiece into a modern watch. The stainless steel case is complemented by a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, enhancing the legibility of the dial. Through the sapphire crystal case back, the in-house automatic movement, caliber CFB A2011, which powers this new model, can be clearly admired.
Two distinct versions of this model are available. The first features a light blue dial with contrasting beige for the small seconds and power reserve indicators, and matching beige for the big date and day displays. The second has a dark grey dial with contrasting olive green for the small seconds and power reserve indicators, and matching olive green for the big date and day displays. Each is offered with either a textile strap or a robust stainless steel bracelet that matches the color of the subdials, resulting in a total of four models.
