Inspired by Vintage Style

TIMEX was founded in Connecticut, USA, in 1854. In 1917, they produced the "Midget," one of the earliest military watches for the US Army, and have since released numerous timepieces. Among them, the iconic "Camper" model was developed by TIMEX during the Vietnam War era as a "disposable watch" that did not require repair or replacement in the field. The US military government purchased these, and they became bestsellers as civilian products.

British designer Nigel Cabourn has collaborated on this "Camper" model. Following the "NAM WATCH" released in 2018, which marked Nigel Cabourn's 50th anniversary as a designer, they have now unveiled the "Referee Watch."

As the name suggests, the "Referee Watch" is inspired by football referees, a representative sport in Nigel's home country of Britain. Drawing inspiration from vintage watches from an era when referees still used stopwatch-like pocket watches, it features a unique design that emphasizes the 45 minutes of game time.

The sporty strap is designed based on the team colors of Scunthorpe United, a British football club that Nigel has long supported. A leather strap is also included.
