Accelerating Towards the Future.

OMEGA has a rich legacy of significant achievements. Now, a new announcement has been made: a story of how something incredibly small has accomplished something great.
OMEGA has introduced the Speedmaster Super Racing, equipped with the newly developed Spirate™ system.
The Spirate™ system features a new, groundbreaking hairspring that enables ultra-fine speed adjustments. Thanks to this unique mechanism, OMEGA has achieved a certified precision of just 0 to 2 seconds per day.
And the first watch to feature it is the stainless steel Speedmaster Super Racing. This timepiece, a visual homage to OMEGA's 2013 masterpiece of anti-magnetic watchmaking, allows a clear view of the new mechanism through its sapphire crystal case back.
Surrounding the dial is a black ceramic bezel ring with a racing-style minute track and a tachymeter scale in "Grand Feu" yellow enamel. This bold yellow, first seen on the Seamaster Aqua Terra 15,000 Gauss launched in 2013, is also used for the gradient chronograph hands and the striped small seconds hand at 9 o'clock. The 60-minute and 12-hour co-axial counter at 3 o'clock also functions as a second time zone. The honeycomb pattern on the dial is inspired by a concept watch displayed in the OMEGA Museum that withstood an extreme magnetic field of 160,000 Gauss.
The diamond-polished black arrow-shaped indexes are coated with a new, proprietary Super-LumiNova® that glows yellow. The same color is used for the "Speedmaster" and "Super Racing" text on the dial.
At 6 o'clock, there's a stylish touch reminiscent of the 10th anniversary of the Seamaster Aqua Terra 15,000 Gauss. The number "10" appears once a month, written in the same font as the Speedmaster logo.

The new Speedmaster Super Racing comes with a steel bracelet and an interchangeable sporty strap: a black and yellow striped recycled nylon NATO strap. This echoes the distinctive color design of the Seamaster Aqua Terra 15,000 Gauss, launched exactly ten years ago.
This collectible watch is presented in a honeycomb-patterned Speedmaster watch box with yellow stitching on a black background. The special edition box also includes the recycled nylon NATO strap and a strap-changing tool.
The price is ¥1,562,000. This announcement is a prime example of OMEGA's continuous willingness to embrace new ideas and take on challenges.
