A Watch Merging Timeless Design with Eco-Friendly Solar Power

The new Junghans "Max Bill Mega Solar" combines innovative technology with the distinctive design of Max Bill, a designer from the Bauhaus school. A key feature is the domed dial equipped with a solar cell. This convex shape allows for efficient charging, enabling the watch to operate after just about eight minutes of exposure to sunlight from a fully discharged state, boasting a power reserve of up to three years.

The case is crafted from titanium, making it lightweight and gentle on the skin. Inside, a Junghans solar radio-controlled movement ensures high precision. It can receive radio signals from Europe, the UK, the USA, and Japan. Furthermore, with a second hand that advances in half-second steps and is automatically corrected 1,440 times a day, along with the hands and date display activating just before the next hour change, it offers accuracy down to the second. This movement also includes a perpetual calendar, and time zone adjustments can be easily made via the crown or by synchronizing the time with the latest version of the Junghans MEGA app, ensuring a comfortable user experience.

This model is paired with either a soft calfskin leather strap or a supple stainless steel Milanese bracelet, making it versatile for any style.
