New Max Bill Kleine Automatic Models Bridge Past, Present, and Future of Bauhaus Watches
Four new models in the "Max Bill Kleine Automatic" collection have been released, inheriting the original design conceived by Swiss designer Max Bill for Junghans in 1961. These timepieces feature a slightly smaller 34mm case housing an automatic movement, enhancing their functionality.

Updated Functionality Meets Iconic Design
Junghans has released four new models in the "Max Bill Kleine Automatic" collection. Characterized by their pure dials, custom-developed typography, and clean lines, these mechanical wristwatches were first designed by Swiss designer Max Bill for Junghans in 1961. They have since been recognized as absolute icons of design, retaining their freshness even after 60 years. Indeed, they have graced wrists as the pinnacle of design for six decades.
These new models update the functionality while preserving the original design. They feature the same 34mm case diameter as the 1961 original, sapphire crystal, and a date display on the minimalist dial. While the original Max Bill design housed a manual-winding movement, these new models are equipped with an automatic movement that converts the wearer's kinetic energy into precise timekeeping.
The collection comprises four variations: two models pair stainless steel cases with beige or black leather straps, one model features a stainless steel case with a Milanese bracelet, and another combines a gold-plated stainless steel case with a grey leather strap.
