Visualizing the time zones of 24 major world cities with minimal dial elements
Founded in 1861, watch brand Junghans is known for producing Germany's first quartz wristwatch and the world's first radio-controlled watch, consistently pursuing innovation, advanced models, and precision. Junghans has now released its new "Meister Worldtimer" model.

A watch that elegantly expresses world time functionality
The new Junghans "Meister Worldtimer" displays the time in 24 cities simultaneously through a radially expanding gray aperture on the dial, elegantly visualizing the ceaselessly ticking world. Each hour of the day is assigned to a specific time zone's city. For example, when communicating with family in a different time zone during an overseas business trip, one can use the nighttime hours indicated by the black numbers from 7 PM to 6 AM as a reference.
The hallmark of this piece is its design, which exudes a remarkable classic and traditional elegance. The domed main indices are inlaid with world times, creating a sense of harmony, while the Dauphine hands above them clearly indicate the time at one's current location. The dial visualizes the movements of time across the globe, and the glass case back allows for appreciation of the meticulously finished automatic movement within.
Furthermore, this model is available with a choice of hard plexiglass or sapphire crystal for the windshield, calfskin or horse leather straps matching the dial and case colors, and an stainless steel bracelet, offering a pleasing selection to suit individual preferences.
This watch serves as a reminder that even in a globalized world of increasing information speed and volume, moments of calm exist, and that even if loved ones are in different time zones, we are all living in the same moment.
