ROGER DUBUIS has released the new "Excalibur Two-Fold." This is a rare grand complication watch, equipped with a double flying tourbillon and featuring a special Super-LumiNova treatment on a synthetic material—a first in haute horlogerie—that reveals a different expression in the dark.

A fusion of creative, innovative technology and open design

ROGER DUBUIS's new "Excalibur Two-Fold" is a grand complication watch featuring a double flying tourbillon. This pure white timepiece takes on a completely different appearance in the dark, thanks to a luminescent treatment that emits a beautiful green glow.

This model achieves three world firsts. First, it employs a 45mm bezel and case made from Mineral Composite Fiber (MCF), a pure white synthetic material composed of 99.9% silica—a first in haute horlogerie. The caliber and rubber strap also feature a special luminescent treatment, Super-LumiNova. This unique Mineral Composite Fiber was born from the Sheet Molding Compound (SMC) process, a specialty of ROGER DUBUIS's engineers.

Next is the technology that illuminates the plate above the MCF movement. This patented new process allows for 60% longer phosphorescence than conventional luminescent materials. Furthermore, the Two-Fold strap, made from proprietary FKM rubber, is also luminescent. With the world's first "LumiSuperBiwiNova™" technology, parts of the strap glow like a signature in the darkness.

Crafted with advanced expertise to ensure lightness and durability, and bearing the Geneva Seal, this timepiece is produced in a limited edition of just 8 pieces and will be available exclusively at boutiques.
