A New Look for OMEGA's Popular Series: The "Seamaster Aqua Terra Small Seconds"

The "Seamaster Aqua Terra Small Seconds," featuring a new sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position, has been added to OMEGA's popular "Seamaster Aqua Terra" series as a new release for 2021. This model, with its small seconds at the 6 o'clock position on the dial, is available in a total of 19 variations: ten 38mm models and nine 41mm models. They will be available from August 2021.

A Wealth of Variations in Stainless Steel, 18K Sedna™ Gold, and Rhodium Finishes

As its name suggests, the "Aqua Terra" (AQUA = water, TERRA = earth) is a collection designed for adventurous, active lifestyles. This collection, which proves its appeal equally in the city and on the open sea, now welcomes the 2021 new release, the "Seamaster Aqua Terra Small Seconds."

The hallmark of all models is the small seconds sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position. The sub-dial ring is crafted from 18K Sedna™ gold or finished in rhodium, with elegant designs featuring diamonds also available for the 38mm models.

The new dial variations are also noteworthy. For the 41mm models, the familiar teak-patterned dial is presented in a two-tone color scheme with the indices, creating a refined aesthetic. The 38mm models offer a diverse range of designs, including dials with subtle, attractive color tones achieved through sun-brush finishing, models with diamonds set in gradually increasing sizes from 6 to 12 o'clock, and dials featuring boat-shaped indices inlaid with iridescent mother-of-pearl.

All models are available with bracelets that match the case color. For the 41mm models, beige and blue rubber straps are offered, while the 38mm models come with alligator leather straps.

Luxurious designs also debut, featuring 18K Sedna™ gold cases with diamonds set around the bezel. The combination of a purple jade dial with its refined hue and an 18K Sedna™ gold bracelet, along with an extra-white mother-of-pearl dial and a vibrant metallic red alligator leather strap, presents a particularly striking and individualistic appearance.

The movement powering this timepiece is OMEGA's Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8802. Models with 18K Sedna™ gold cases are equipped with Calibre 8803, which also features an 18K Sedna™ gold rotor and balance bridge.

For the 41mm models, case materials include stainless steel, 18K Sedna™ gold, and a combination of stainless steel and 18K Sedna™ gold. These are paired with bracelets matching the case color or integrated rubber straps in a tone that complements the dial. The dial colors—two-tone combinations of blue and grey, silver and blue, and silver and beige—add depth to the design and create a beautiful contrast with the sub-dials.

The movement is the new Calibre 8916. Models with 18K Sedna™ gold cases feature the luxurious Calibre 8917, which also utilizes 18K Sedna™ gold for its rotor and balance bridge.
